Sean Kroner's Work Portfolio

Leverage Preview
This project was rooted from another video that I have been working on for a while, so I decided to make this a preview for that short film. When I made the title I clicked on Title > New Title > Default Still to create the picture. After that I dragged it into the timeline and shortened the length of it to 3 seconds. I then double clicked on the title in the timeline went to effects controls. I clicked on the symbol that looks like a stop watch next to ‘position’ and set the numbers to 960 and 540. I then slid the player to the end of the title and clicked on the diamond symbol on that same line. After doing this I set the numbers to 1640 and -5 to make the title move. I then added a dip to black transition on both sides of the title. I then dragged a clip onto my timeline and then added the dip to black transition to both sides. I then created a new title for the next sequence and used the same method to make the words move across the screen as the last title. I repeated this for the next two clips in the timeline and at about the 30 second mark I have the first hard cut which I did by placing the clip that the video cuts to on the video 2 line above the first clip which then dipped to black into the first still title that said ‘Coming this Fall’. For the next transition between film clips I used the iris box transition. For the next title, ‘Leverage’ I used the push transition. For the credits sequence I went to the top tool bar and clicked Title > New Title > Default Roll and proceeded to type all the information for the credits. I then clicked in the top left of the title menu on default roll options and clicked the boxes for start on the screen and end off the screen. Finally I dragged the music into the audio portion of the timeline and right clicked on it and went to audio gain. I then typed -6 to bring the audio down so it wasn’t overwhelming. Finally I exported the project.
